About Me

Hi, I’m Judy–a mom of three (healthy) children and an avid reader as well as published author.

Living a healthy life has always been important to me. I was born in Oklahoma, and live here currently, but my cousin has convinced me to move to Florida, and after visiting there last year, I started making long term plans to make that move. I just love those powdery white beaches, the fresh air and palm trees– and the seafood! Oh, my! Can I survive another move at this time of my life? I know it’s good to get out of my comfort zone every once in a while, and theoretically, I believe that you should do something that scares you once in a while. But this kind of move is pretty scary, so it’s going to take some courage.

Health, natural remedies, and everything even remotely related to the subject has always fascinated me. I think it started in my 20’s when I read Adelle Davis’ book: Let’s Have Healthy Children. I started to realize that health isn’t just something we are born with, we can create it in ourselves, and in our children. Wow! I was hooked.

Recently, I began working as a family advocate, assisting families of all sizes and backgrounds. And I began to notice that families today struggle with health issues just as much as when my babies were little. They suffer from colds, fevers, the flu, and countless other health problems. Now, some of those health issues are normal, but many of them can be prevented (or at least last a shorter period of time!) with a healthy immune system. There’s so much that you or I can control when it comes to our health.

So I began thinking: why not create a place to bring resources together to help families become healthy?

Products, information, news and tips to help parents, children and everyone else build a healthy immune system and avoid or reduce a lot of unnecessary sickness and disease.

Now, I’m not a doctor or health practitioner. I do have a degree in Psychology, but that doesn’t qualify me to give medical advice, and I don’t intend to do that. Everything on these pages is information that has already been published or advertised for specific health issues.  But I know what it’s like to spend hours searching for information about one specific thing, and my aim is to add to my “shelves”  often and abundantly.

If I’ve enjoyed reading it, you’ll find a way to get to it here. If it has helped my family, I want to share it with yours. Enjoy!
